Alright guys, here is the deal. I am still writing the Anteheroes, believe it or not... but I refuse to bind myself by the webserial format anymore. It is too difficult to work out for me these days, which is hampering the quality of my writing significantly.

Stay tuned every few months for updates. My current project is starting from the beginning... all over again. The next book in the series will be the first... Alexis Decker, Bathrobe Ninja.

Sorry for the sudden pause in updates. I haven't been in my room for more than 30 minutes except to sleep for the last several days, and work is not the most conducive place to be writing.

I just had the weirdest dream...

I started dimension hopping using a cellphone by pressing a five-digit number combination I activated accidentally. I tried to visit... ugh, I forget, but it all went horribly wrong, and I ended up in this evil dystopian alternate reality which sugared everything up to hide the awful truth. (I found out that the key combination spelled out "WHITE" and this reality gave me a little jingle about a rainbow of colors and shit every time I used it. And it would tell me that if my cellphone was low on power, all I had to do was dial the numbers and hold it in sunlight. If it was low on power and not in sunlight, a voice would say, "Oh-oh-oh, Mr. Calamity! Eating sunlight today again? You know you can't eat sunlight, only babies sometimes! *fake 50's laugh*")

While I tried to find out more, my cellphone died because in that reality, my cellphone couldn't connect to the local cellphone towers, and I couldn't get access to a cellphone from that reality with unrestricted dimensional travel privileges like mine. And the government there eventually found out about my existence, disrupting the brainless happy lives of the citizens there, and they sent people to exterminate me, and then all these old guys with suits and one of my ex-roommates showed up and they were here to protect me, and they started crashing their cars into the enemy extermination squads to save me.

Then I realized that the number combination for WHITE was like some kind of super-area code so it didn't matter if I couldn't connect to the local towers, so I pressed the number, held it to the sun, called the operator and had her send me back to dimension 616 (home dimension.)

I got there and I'd been missing for three days, everyone thought I was dead, but I just timehopped back three days with the cellphone, everyone was happy, but I was angry, so I dimension hopped back to the evil dimension and a giant sword of white fire and electricity shot out of my cellphone's antenna and I used the phone as a hilt and I started killing government officials. And after I avenged my roommate's death I teleported back and had cake.

WEIRD. VERY WEIRD.

Then I woke up.

You ever have to 'escape' in a dream before your mind will let you wake up? Even when you know you really have to wake up right now?

I just had one of those dreams, I had to come up with a logical explanation for getting out of the haunted house I was in... and the solution was having a girl from one of the language houses here (the Chinese house, though in-dream it was the Szechuan house) pull me out of the room because they had a vacancy they needed to fill and I was recommended and it was an urgent deadline, no it can't wait at all Mr. Ghost.

As soon as she dragged me outside, poof, eyes opened... two hours after they were supposed to, but I finally felt awake enough to get out of bed instead of falling back asleep.

Anyway, studying for my Hinduism exam. After this, I'll have some more time to work on Episode 6.

As I near the finish line on papers, the most random crap occurs to me.

Garner's kindnesses or lack of cruelties may have been more humane, but they also made far more durable bonds, collars that the Pauls were glad to wear just because they were a little lighter and a little smaller - but stronger. They were made of Mithril, like Frodo's impenetrable chain shirt.

I really, really want to keep that bolded sentence, but I know I shouldn't.

I'm working on Episode 6 here and there, but I've got an essay due tomorrow at 3 that takes precedence. I should be able to sneak in a little writing time over the weekend.

More rough-drafting for a possible series outline:
Alexis Decker, Bathrobe Ninja - Wherein our hero is introduced. Projected as: Volume 3.
The Conquering Dawn - Wherein our villain makes her appearance. Projected as: Volume 4.
Agent Aeolus and the Anteheroes - Wherein the full cast makes its name. Completed as: Volume 1.
The Voyages of the Anteheroes - Wherein the plot from Volume 1 is finished. In Progress as: Volume 2.
Alexis Decker, Medium-at-Large - Projected as: Volume 5.
The Philosopher Queen - Projected as: Volume 6.
The Age of the Anteheroes - Projected as: Volume 7.

Talk about Harry Potter/Narnia syndrome. Though it remains to be seen which ideas I do end up using, which I end up scrapping, and which take more space than I realize. (Agent Aeolus and Voyages were originally supposed to be part of the same volume; same for Bathrobe Ninja and Conquering Dawn.)

Bah, I hate to do this, but I guess school comes first. I'll snag some more time when I can. I have two pages of the usual seven or so done, but I really need to time to finish the end of the semester.
