Comic #33

Alexis Decker and the Anteheroes (Working Title) in production!

by AstralFire - 13 June

Alright, I would like to make the formal announcement that Team Anteheroes has now brought the Swampwitch on board. She will be handling lead direction and coding on the upcoming Anteheroes video game. The working (not final) title is Alexis Decker and the Anteheroes. Release Date TBD. Alexis Decker and the Anteheroes will be a 2D Action-RPG available for the PC, for free distribution. The emphasis will actually be on the RPG; full voice-acting is planned for the game (but at this early stage, of course, many things are up in the air.) However everything finalizes - it'll be wonderful. Welcome to the team, Ina!

On a side note, long-time friends will know that the musician Michelle Branch has been with me every step of the way. Her albums have been my most constant companions throughout every phase of the Anteheroes, from its earliest to its most recent inception. It is only fitting that I pass on a link to her new single, Getaway featuring Timbaland. I apologize if it's not your genre. This is a bit different in style (and a good deal lighter in tone) than many of her previous works, but I find it a very worthy addition to my collection.

Gentlemen, I have seen the face of idiocy.

And it is the road planner in Manassas, VA.

From an obscene amount of roads with the same name, different street type (Richmond Street, Richmond Avenue, Richmond Road...).

To highways that change name for the length of like three city blocks before changing back.

To highways that change name three or four times in about five city blocks.

To the crowning jewel of this regalia of retardation: A road where two one-way streets meet head on, with your only indication of the turn being faded and cracked symbols painted onto the asphalt. God, I just about had a heart attack when I turned the corner and saw a stream of cars driving towards me at 40 MPH.
